Xi, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, sent a congratulatory letter to Ta Kung Pao on the 120th anniversary of its founding on Sunday. The newspaper, founded on June 17, 1902, is the oldest Chinese-language newspaper still in circulation in the world.

《大公報》創(chuàng)刊120周年慶祝儀式6月12日下午在香港舉行，超過1000名各界人士出席了當(dāng)日的慶祝儀式，并參觀了同時舉辦的《大公報》創(chuàng)刊120周年圖片展。為慶?！洞蠊珗蟆穭?chuàng)刊120周年，香港郵政將于6月17日發(fā)行主題郵票，維港兩岸從6月11日至17日均有祝賀燈光秀。此外，香港大公文匯傳媒集團還將舉辦一系列慶?；顒?。
